My name is Gail Gabbert. I am a psychotherapist who specializes in mental health and addiction and just like you, I tried my fair share of weight loss programs.
I have seen good results with Weight Watchers on two separate occasions.
However, like most people, I regained the weight I had lost.
During the COVID pandemic, I benefited from social restrictions and found it easier to maintain a diet without easy access to restaurants. Several members of my family chose to participate in the goal of losing the “Family 50”.
We lost well over fifty pounds—in fact, nearly one hundred pounds. In celebration, we treated ourselves to a beach vacation. Unfortunately, that was the beginning of a gradual weight gain.
Then it occurred to me that I do have specific knowledge related to the maintenance of weight loss.
I have helped thousands of mental health clients make changes in their lives for over 30 years. And, I have helped thousands of opioid addicts achieve drug abstinence and maintain recovery for over 15 years.
